On collaborative learning

Collaborative learning refers to learning situations in which individual work together to produce learning experiences by interacting and making use of each other's resources and knowledge. Computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL) uses technology to assist the interaction among learners.

During the IEOL project, an academic thesis was produced on this subject in Finland. Reeta Tenhola, one of the teachers on the Let's Get Social course, studied the group and wrote a Master's Thesis called " Collaborative Learning through social media in liberal adult education". The thesis is available via the below link (in Finnish only).
